Hello community, recently got a desktop pc from my parents and i want to upgrade it for gaming, but i don't know what to upgrade first, my gpu or cpu. My current graphics card is a nvidia geforce gt 620 1gb and my cpu is a intel i3-3220t dual core 2.8ghz.
The budget i have available is very low, 130 euros.
I would really appreciate any help given on this matter
Thanks

I would first follow Bad_Kitty13's suggestion of checking your PSU brand, wattage, and whether it has a 6-pin PCI-E connector. However with 130 euro you will be able to get a GTX 750 Ti, which doesn't require any extra connector if you pick the reference model.

^ Go for the 750 Ti, the performance is phenomenal for the price and amount of power it uses.

The processor is fine for now, do that next

And make sure you have a decent PSU that can handle these upgrades. A lot of the time, manufacturers put in PSUs that can power the computer but don't have much wiggle room for upgrades.

I agree 750 Ti is an awesome card for subtle upgrade and should do decent paired with that cpu. keep in mind though that premade system usually use cheap power supplys and your is most likely a 300w, Nvidia has said that it can run on a 300w Power supply. but i would def consider an upgrade to that in the near future.

650ti/750ti or a 660 (if you find it for cheaper than the 650ti somehow) would be the highest GPU i could reccomend on a dual core CPU. or an HD 7770 would be a huge step up from the gt 620. Do you have at least 4GB of system RAM??
