Hi, I'm still relatively new to this. This is my first build that I will be buying in several months from now and I'd like to be sure that I'm getting my money's worth. That being said, I'd like some advice on this budget build...

The system will be used primarily for movies and for running more recent and upcoming next-gen games like Black Flag, Watch Dogs, The Crew, Far Cry 3, Sleeping Dogs, and more...

I'm not intent on overclocking...

I'm conflicted mostly between the CPU and GPU. I was thinking of getting the FX-8350 and a 270/270X instead but I'm not really sure. .-. I think Intel would deliver better CPU performance in gaming? No idea about the GPU yet but the GTX 760 does look good to me.

Thoughts please?

And thanks :D

This is a good build with the SSD added. I would definitely go with the 760 over the 270x, especially now. Also, I'd try to get as many parts from Amazon as you can, free shipping on things over $25. I've saved tons of shipping charges buying from Amazon. Intel CPU's typically give better performance in gaming, but it's hard to notice sometimes. I'd say go AMD, but with the 8350 selling at near $200 now, and 990FX boards selling for slightly more than 1155 or 1150, it's a better deal to spend the extra on the i5.
