Hey guys just wondering if having a fully painted case such as corsair C70, is safe to touch while building in order to discharge any static. I used my wrist strap hooked to a painted part of the case as there is no bare metal anywhere including screws. Is the paint conductive in order to discharge static. Thanks guys

Yep should be fine, hook your self up to another metal structure bed etc.

OK the only issue is I already built it touching the painted metal and everything works fine I'm just worried because people say static can damage and you won't even know

True but you'll know, it wont work :) . So don't worry as long as you kept touching the metal it'll be fine.

Yes, paint is not a resistor/insulator. Get an anti static wrist band then clip it to your case to ground yourself. Or clip it to your "plugged in but turned off PSU." Because your PSU has a ground wire (that 3rd prong on electrical plugs is the ground)
