Question about the optical drive i ordered

Most any optical drive is compatible with Windows 7. Only ones I can think of that wouldn't be are maybe SCSI drives, and even then, that's only if the controller is not supported. IDE/SATA drives should be natively supported.

I have that exact same model of drive in my desktop, and it works just fine.
