Using an xbox 360 controller to wirelessly power on my PC.

This is something that I have wanted to do for a long time but have found little, to no guidance online for. I'm wanting to use my wireless 360 controller that I use for gaming on my pc as a way to power on my pc. I use my big screen as a monitor sometimes and it would be nice to have a way to turn it on without having to manually press the power button my pc. Any ideas on how this can be done? Any help is appreciated.

I am already able to use the controller to play games on the pc. I'd like to be able to say press the "guide/home" button in the center to power on the pc though. I don't know if I'd need a special receiver of sorts to integrate into my jumpers or if there are other methods out their available.
