Hello,

I guess you could say I'm not computer savvy. My friend built for me an awesome gaming computer. He ran off all these names but truthfully it went in one ear and out the other. I was more focused on the game boxes and nodding my head in confirmation. Anyways, I'm always getting this message after entering a game's website. (Battlelog) The computer will either show an orange screen or go black. Afterwards it restarts and in an all black screen, the letters in white will say; "A Hyper Transport sync flood error occurred on last reboot" then press F1 to reboot....or something like that.
A Microsoft message will appear and say the computer restarted suddenly, would you like to check for solutions. I clicked the bottom arrow and received all these codes and what not:
Problem signature:
Problem Event Name: BlueScreen
OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.768.3
Locale ID: 1033

Additional information about the problem:
BCCode: 124
BCP1: 0000000000000000
BCP2: FFFFFA800848A8F8
BCP3: 0000000000000000
BCP4: 0000000000000000
OS Version: 6_1_7601
Service Pack: 1_0
Product: 768_1
I have asked my friend what the problem could be but even he doesn't know whats the deal. If you need the stats on the what the computer is using then I'd gladly share them if it will help.... of course, knowing how to find out would also be great. SO I guess the computer for dummies version would be better in my case. :)

I'm sorry but I think I'm doing it wrong. I clicked the link and was sent to a page to download a CD burning program. Sadly, I don't have any CD's to burn to. Just a gaming computer. (Lol, I bet when I get your answer I'm going to feel like a complete idiot.)
Also, when I was getting on today, I got a message saying my Flash Plugin failed:
FlashPlayerPlugn_12_0_0_70.exe - Application Error
The exception unknown software exception (0xc0000710) occurred in the application at location 0x7720a389.

Okay, soo I inserted a USB drive. Clicked the website you gave me and tried clicking the "memtest86-usb", brings up a window saying "Windows Disc Image Burner". Tried several ways but can't get it to burn to a USB drive. It even gave me another file called "imageUSB".
I clicked "imageUSB", and it brought up a window called imageUSB by Passmark Software. I tried Step 2 after selecting the USB. Selecting Create from UFD. Hopefully selected the correct Step 3 and after some unfamiliar prompts its in the process of creating an Image in Step 4. Man, I hope I'm doing this right.
Update:
Created some codes on a Notepad. So I'm guessing thats not it. Selected "Write to UFD" this time. Hopefully I get better results.
Also, I tried posting several images. It always asks for a URL. How do I get an image's url when its on my computer, not the internet?
okay, Well I Must be doing Something wrong here. Because there is no image or no file on the USB drive. I'm going to restart the computer.

Sorry everyone who has helped me for my considerably late responses. The issues went from bad to worse. To the point where I couldn't even get on the Internet without it shutting down and rebooting. All my game files were deleted (by the virus) and after installing AVG online (through some miracle). The AVG kept picking up infected files every time i scanned. Even after I deleted infected files it kept finding more. Each scan was getting more and more. Constantly spreading. (Guess that's why they call them a virus) Before I restarted, the virus took out everything that made my computer work properly.
Had my friend completely wipe the Hard drive. That was my last and only option sadly. Now I'm redownloading every game I have. There is no issue with internet, since I'm replying. But occasionally I'll get a restart b/c of Hyper Transport Sync flood error. So I'm assuming it has something to do with my Graphics Card. When I bought this card it was awesome... Now the times have changed.... Great...more money to spend.. :(
I kinda felt good today because my friend couldn't find out why the wireless adapter for the internet wasn't working. So we used a cable instead. I found the issue and fixed it. (1 point for the noob!!)
Anyways. Thanks again for all your help and time. I really do appreciate it. If crap hits the fan again. I'll be coming back here again most definitely. Unless, ya'll know what causes the Hyper Transport sync flood error to occur then I'd be happy and most grateful to hear it.
