what would be alternative for graphic card nVidia GeForce 8600GS

I have old Medion MD8828 desktop PC. The graphical card has failed and screen is unreadable. It has been graphic card problem and card can be replaced. However this type of card is not available anymore. What would be alternative for this nVidia GeForce 8600GS card. Can anybody help me, please.

Ah alright then. I just googled 8600 AGP and got lots of rumors but no solid info one way or another. @op go with what TCB said.

Thank you for your help. NVidia GT 620 works fine. Later I tried even GT 630 2G - works OK as well - with Vista.
