I've been gaming for a while and am currently running on Sennheiser PC350's for my gaming headset but am willing to change to a pair of headphones with a clip on mic if it will give me much better audio.
I've been looking at the:
Razer Tiamat 7.1's
Astro A40's(With or without mix amp)
Sennheiser G4ME Zero's or Sennheiser G4ME One's
but i'm not so sure if these are going to do what I would like for sound quality wise. I've been trying to find answers for what would be a very good setup with a soundcard and headphones or a good headset with great positional audio.
I've heard a lot of great things about the Audio-technica headphones but have also heard they are quite large. Which would not work for me.
I play a lot of shooters and I listen to a lot of music as well as run movies off my PC quite often.
If anyone could recommend the best setup for a situation like this that would be great.
Razer Tiamat 7.1's and Astro A40's both are good choice to get, but Razer Tiamat does not have good surrounding system; where Astro have a better system on that. Of course buy Astro with Mix Amp.
take that as suggestion not solution. thanks
