I recently built a gaming pc with a 650 watts psu so that's the maximum consumption. I live in India so I need an uninterrupted power supply or ups to run the system. I connected my pc along with a 22 inch monitor and a speaker into the ups. it was working fine but if I start doing something which requires graphical load then the ups gets overloaded. I have a 600 va ups. So my question is if I return it and get a 1000 va ups will it be able to power my pc without overload while gaming.etc ? Thanks in advance.

If I were you, I would look for a UPS in the 1200+VA range. Typically to determine how large of a UPS you need, you take the maximum wattage your system will draw (650 watts and you multiply it by 1.67) which comes out to 1085.5va. So if you throw in your monitor and any other devices such as desk lights and printers, your best bet would be to go with a 1200va or larger UPS. Don't forget, if you are maxing out the UPS, it will only give you a few minutes of backup power at best.
