Ok so i have already ordered nzxt 410 mid case, i have a i7-4770k along with asus-gtx 770 and asus hero motherboard.

I know that the NZXT 410 case comes with 3 fans ( one 140mm top fan, one 120mm fan on the back and one 120m fan on the front. ) im real OCD when it comes to things looking clean and tidy/matching. I was going to replace the top 140mm which is white, with 2 FZ 140mm LED fans which are transparent.

Would i be able to put the single 140mm fan that i replaced on the front then move the 120mm fan to the side/bottom. As far as air flow goes im not really sure how it all works but i read somewhere that sometimes side/bottom fans can make the cooling system worse because it ruins the flow.

Solution
I assume you have a 410 phantom as the 410 Elite has 2 front fans not 1. Under that assumption you can put the 120mm on the side (it doesnt have a bottom fan mount) and put the 140mm on the front. this is fine and the airflow in that case imo is fine with a side because it goes straight to the graphics card. the front would push the air through to the 2 top and rear exhaust creating a nice flow. its when you have a fan the size of the motherboard on the side of the case that messes up the air flow. this setup will do nicely imo, just make the 120 on the side and 140 in the front intakes and the 2 tops and rear exhausts.

o yeah its just the normal 410. So even if i put two 120mm on top, one 140mm in the front and a 120m on the side, the airflow will be sweet and you can install 2 120mm front fans but it only comes with one so i would rather throw the 140mm in there and then put the 120mm to the side
