should i get razer kraken 7.1, logitech g430 or sennheiser pc 320 ?

Solution

Of the above headsets, I would go for the Logitech set. Razer is great but overpriced, and the Sennheiser set is a little toward the low end.

However, if you aren't set on one of the above, there are better alternatives. In the sub-$100 range most gamers would recommend the Plantronics Gamecom 780, at least from my experience. After a multitude of recommendations, I got them myself and I can honestly say I've never owned better headphones (though I've never had anything over $200 worth). They are $50, 7.1 and really solid build quality, fantastic bass, good mid, and fantastic treble. The only downside is that you have to install drivers to use the 7.1.

I wouldn't say they are larger than any regular over-ear headsets. They are very light and have never caused me discomfort, whereas most ones do.

In the end this is your choice. Might I reccomend you look at the top rayed headsets on Tomsguide or Overclockers? They could help you make a decision :)

Of all of the above I would take the razer. The company has lots of experience with gaming technology. I agree the 7.1 is a bit overpriced, you pay around 15$ extra because of the lights and stuff, but it's really worth it.
