  1. what game?
  2. If you are talking about WoW it might be your CPU. WoW is one of the few games that rely heavily on the CPU.
  3. Oh sorry forgot to mention yes it is wow.. i have 3rd gen i5 3570k processor if thats the problem can i overclock it?

I don't think so. The 3570k is quite powerful. Monitor your CPU and GPU temperatures as well as their usage. The only thing we can really do is process of elimination..
  5. Thanks could you tell me what software to use for monitoring?

    Temps:
    http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/hwmonitor.html

    GPU usage:
    http://event.msi.com/vga/afterburner/gui.htm

    CPU usage:
Not sure if the provided software offers CPU usage. If not, just use task manager.
  7. I am monitoring and the cpu usage is 40% and gpu 63%
  8. That isn't much. What about the temperatures? Also see if you have any game with an integrated benchmark and compare your results with those posted on the internet (GPU reviews for example). That way we can see if your hardware is performing normally in other games. If the temps and the benchmarks are OK it might either be a WOW related issue or something else entirely. It could even be a virus or a HDD fault. We'll see.
  9. I have crysis 3 installed and wow these are the two games which i play atm
  10. Sorry got busy due to my exams...my new gpu temp is 72c and usage is 92! whereas the cpu usage is 38, and still getting low fps... last time i forgot to mention i checked my ssd and did a full virus & malware scan so it could be the gpu or the cpu?
  11. What was your CPU temp? Download the trial version of 3dmark11 and let it run through. It benchmarks both your GPU and CPU. You can compare the individual results online. Monitor the CPU temp while you do the benchmark.
  12. CPU Temp 62-70C

    GPU SCORE
P7843 with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 Ti(1x) and Intel Core i5-3570K Processor
    Graphics Score 8367
    Physics Score 6637
    Combined Score 6553

Your scores are pretty much exactly as they should be. I've concluded that it must be a WoW related issue and googled it a little. First results with "wow raid fps" was this:

Seems to be a common issue. I can't help you out with that, since I don't own the game, but with that info you should at least be on the right track. You should try finding a solution in the Blizzard forums or just write them directly if you can't find anything helpful.
  14. Ok thanks mate your help is much appreciated i will make a ticket or speak to someone at blizz technical dept
