computer random restart

hi,

ive recently built my new gaming computer / workstation
but have been having issues with it randomly restarting either under load or at idle i have run memtest 86 on both dimms separately and they both passed

comuter specs:
gigabyte ud3p ga 970
fx 8350
16gb corsair ram
thermaltake smart se 730w psu
arctic cooling freezer 13 idle at 19 degrees
xfx r9 290 ref
win 8.1

Check your temperatures.

It could be that your power supply is faulty or not powerful enough.

temps all good hit 48 degrees max at 100% for over 2 hours
and 730w is enough for this system

Yes, in theory 730w is okay for this rig.
It doesn't stop the power supply from being faulty.

Most likely your PSU.But don't think for a minute that temps that are being displayed in any kind of software or even in BIOS are actual.Trust your senses always my friend.
