Hi,
I'm currently in the process of composing a new PC. For hardware, I've got the following ideas:
CPU: Intel Core i7-4930K
Graphiics card: NVidia GTX 770 (I'd like to have the cooler attached by the manufacturer, even though I don't need the Dual BIOS feature :()
RAM: Corsair Dominator DHX 16GB Kit DDR3 PC3-15000 CL9
Mainboard: Asus X79-Deluxe
HDD: Samsung 840 Evo Series 1TB Basic + maybe 500 GB more
PSU: be quiet! Dark Power PRO P10 500W
Case: I prefer Lian-Li (e. g. Lian Li PC-X2000FN black)
CPU-Cooler: NZXT Kraken X60
I'd need some recommendations for the rest of the water cooling system - and if there are some better options to go for hardware-wise, I'd appreciate them, too :)
The only thing that's kinda fixed is the CPU and that the graphics card will be a 770 or 780.
The system will be used for gaming (2 FullHD screens, one for gaming, the other for watching streams, etc.), programming (Java with Eclipse and AS) and running some VMs (hence the 16 GB RAM).
Thanks for your help! :)

Unless its a typo, that PSU is a quite low for the GTX 770 (you need 600W, you had listed a 500W) and did you list 1TB SSD? That some serious cash (you can dump that on a Better GPU like GTX 780) and plain vanilla HDD 1TB

Best Luck

you have some good points, i would suggest that you cut the 1tb ssd and get a smaller, maybe 60-120gb ssd to boot and a 1tb hdd and spent the money you save on a gtx 780 and a 600-700 watt psu.

1. 120GB SSD should be your minium
2. IF you're really thinking of a GTX 780 make certain you get an efficient PSU (at least 80+ Bronze) - XFX, Seasonix, or higher end Corsair (HX).
3. Another alternative to the LIan (Fractal Design Define XL R2 Black Pearl (i own this one and i love it) plenty of room and super quiet ( http://www.fractal-design.com/home/product/cases/define-series/define-xl-r2-black-pearl ) Certainly you can find it on sale.
