The best $1000 gaming pc build 2014?

Hey, I'm new to this forum and I'm thinking about building my first gaming PC. My budget lies around 1000 usd(excluding screen, keyboard, mouse and OS) and I'll be using this computer for gaming most of the time. Can you guys recommend me something. I'd appreciate a Pcpartpicker list.

Thanks in advance!

  2. Hey, thanks for the reply, the computer you made is really amazing for this price. I might want a 3gb R9 280x instead of the 2gb GTX 770 buy I'm not exactly sure which one's better. I'm going to wait a while to see if anyone else has any good builds and then I'll probably start buying and building! Thanks again!
  3. No problem. Well the r9 280x in the US has a bad price atm because of the miners it is getting higher and higher. The GTX 770 is little better and also cheaper in the US.
  4. I'm thinking about buying the R9 280X because the GTX 770 is pricier where I live (Europe) but I'm not entirely sure yet!
