So i have 2 spare 5.25 bay drives and really want to utilize them for something which would be beneficial to me

I have seen this ASUS ROG front bay controller, i have an ASUS M5A97 R2.0 motherboard so would this work for ? i really would benefit as my fx 8120 has a max temp of 61 degrees and as i leave the fans on low i wanna make sure i dont break that temp as playing FC3 i can achieve around 59 degrees

Fan controller wouldn't be ideal as my fans are pretty silent and they do a good job on there current setting
(http://www.overclock3d.net/articles/misc_hardware/asus_...)

i have enough drive bays so 5.25 to 3.5/2.5 wouldnt be ideal

Could someone please recommend me something to use them for ?

Please no toaster coffee makers drink holders etc :D  LoL

Thanks

More about : bay drives

Very similar, I just looked and can't find one in the UK. It has a few more features but looks impossible to get hold of .

The asus rog front base is not compatible with your mobo. It's only compatible with rog mobos. It has much more capabilities than a normal 5.25" lcd like gazzaknight posted. http://www.scan.co.uk/shop/computer-hardware/all/moddin... There are plenty of other fan controllers and other front display stuff. But unless you find a programmable one like the nmedia lcd, you'll be limited on what it can show.

There's no such thing as certified. Unless you plug it into the wrong pin, nothing can go wrong.
