Hello I've been having a problem for the past 3 weeks since the release of windows 8.1 and that is that my computer suddentlyshuts down at random times, mostly when I play video games, about 10 to 45 mins of playing, but now sometimes just shuts down even if not playing (like when I was writing this 02/27/28 12:28pm) most of the times I am able to turn it on after the shut down but one time I actually needed to open my pc and take off and on my rams, but since that time it has not happen again. This is my hardware:
CPU: AMD Fx 6100 six core 3.30 ghz
MB: Asus M5A99FX pro 2.0 (after shut down the CPU_LED red light is on for some time)
RAM: 4 - 8 Gb crucial ballistix sport ddr3-1600
GPU: MSI R7850 twin frozr 2GD5oc
HD: Kingston 152gb SSD SV300S37A120G
PSU: Corsair 700GS (which i think this is the problem)
also have a Thermaltake water 2.0 CPU cooler, razer gaming mouse and keyboard (naga and lycosa), OS windows 8 (I reinstalled after had problems with 8.1 but still had the problem)
So far what I have done is: Open my PC, clean all the componets, remove an extra fan, clean and reapply paste on CPU, remove and clean all rams (i havent tested all my rams 1 by 1), update all my hardware drivers from their manufacturers webpages, updated my bios, remove an antivirus that thought that was the problem (total defence premium internet security), and still have the problem, any ideas????
I had my computer repaired in Sept 2013 at tigerdirect (worst idea ever) and after 2 months they told me I had a defective ram and had it replaced, and also replace HD and MB for new ones....since then everything worked fine. I'm willing to pay so that I can solve this but, I would like to know first what is the problem, I had errors on event viewer since I assembled my pc (I builded myself which you know is not hard, on Nov 2012)
