Is the i5 4670k / GTX 760 2GB a good choice for me?

Basically I'm building a computer and I need some really good specs. Overclocking the CPU definitely an option. What I'll being doing is gaming (like BF3, TF2, CS:GO, Outlast, etc..) I will probably be recording some of these games as well. Medium - High settings is what I'm aiming for. I will also be doing some video editing, the programs are as follows:

Premiere Pro/ Premiere Elements
Cinema 4D
After Effects
Photoshop

Along with the GTX 760 and the i5, I'll also be getting 8GB of Corsair Vengeance RAM, and a 1TB Caviar Blue 7200 RPM Hard Drive.

Are these specs a good choice for me? My budget is about $1000.

I am using the same exact set up you described.
If there is one piece of advice I could give you is do some extensive research on which MOBO you decide to get. Along with with socket it is (which I'm sure you already know). I skimped on my MOBO research and I am currently stuck with an ASUS z87-c. This board is plagued with problems and the ASUS Suite actually crashed my OS so many times that it became corrupt, this was 2 days after I had finished installing all of my games and got everything set up. One fan header doesn't work, it won't overclock at all(crashes on reboot), and pretty much every other problem that a MOBO could have.
The MSI GTX 760 2gb oc edition is a very good card, I haven't found a game it couldn't play on ultra...

1. You can find a better PSU for the money (XFX, Seasonic, or Rosewill [Hive series]).
2. You're missing your operating system (another $100)
3. You're missing your CPU Cooler (try the CM Hyper EVO 212 for <$30)
4. Are you really going to watch Blu-Rays? or Record on them? Blu-Ray writable are some what costly? (if not doing either a $17 DVD-RW is fine. LG)
5. Don't see a monitor listed

If you have a microcenter near you, an certain find these parts at at lower value (a cpu/motherboard como, and the case)

Best Luck

The MSI GTX 760 2gb oc edition is a very good card, I haven't found a game it couldn't play on ultra. Tomb Raider, Skyrim heavily modded, BF3, Ghosts and numerous new AAA titles. While this card performs very well for the price it does seem to have some issues. I do not have any issues with mine except for the right fan on the card is having a little bit of trouble keeping up with the left fan. Sometimes when I boot up I actually have the give it a little spin to get it going. Despite all that it is actually staying a lot cooler than the reference card.
The i5-4670k is also a very good pick. But do be sure to get some aftermarket cooling. I got a cooler master hyper evo for mine and I've yet to see it go over the lower mid 40's in load. I cannot remember what my temps usually were with the stock cooler though.
Another tid bit of advice I could give is save up for another week or two and get yourself an SSD.
Also what tachybana said. If you have a Microcenter within an hour drive go there! You'll save a lot of scratch because they bundle their CPU's and MOBO's. Before I went in there I had sent them a list of parts I wanted to get in and out quicker. The front desk clerk actually sent me to his friend in the CPU section and he told me that I could get the next gen i5 and mobo for cheaper than the last gen ones. I was originally getting an i5 3570k, who would have thought I could get a 4670k for cheaper...just be very sure you do not get that asus z87-c with your bundle, as it is one of the choices. Microcenter is amazing.
