I am having problems with my hard drive. I originally had my hard drive connected to my primary laptop (windows 7) but recently got a secondary one (lower powered, smaller and more power efficient and more portable laptop (windows vista)). The hard drive worked perfectly on my primary computer but when I connected it to my secondary laptop, it said I did not have the permissions so I changed the HD to make the secondary PC the owner. After that, I couldn't view the data on my primary so I had to change the ownership back to primary. I have had to do this any time I want to view the data on either of the PCs. Would love to know if there is a way to have the data accessible to both computers without having to do anything special every time. Thanks

Dude look it up!! But very simply, you can connect two computers with an ethernet cable, setup home sharing, and then share the drives, at which point you will be able to access the hard drive from one computer on the other, and vice versa
