Radeon R9 290X vs. GTX 780 Ti

I currently have a Radeon 7870 Graphics Card. I am looking to upgrade. Which is better the 290x or the 780 Ti? Would it be better to crossfire them or just use the better one and use the 7870 for another computer?

Crossfired 270X's (essentiall overclocked 7870's) are faster than a 780 Ti in some cases, and the 780 Ti is faster in others.

If you can overclock your 7870s to an appreciable degree, then nothing will stand in their way.

I just finished Crysis 3 on max settings with 2xSMAA at 1080p and I never dropped below 60fps--that's with my crossfire 270Xs and a Xeon E3 1230v3, I love this system.
