I want to build gaming rig that can handle some high quality graphic. I am also looking too do animation, sound recording, and any other editing software. This is all for leisurely pleasure, and definitely for a novice user. This will be my first build ever. These are just some parts I am interested using. I am going to use a windows os. Pic away and give me advice! I don't want to spend more $700 to $800 bucks.

You re-used the motherboard link as the processor link, so I don't know which model i7 you're getting. Based on your described usage, I'm not sure an i7 is worthwhile for you. If you were heavily into video editing etc. it might be. You haven't specified what you've chosen for RAM, storage, optical drive, or a case. If you want advice regarding those, please specify your budget, as well as whether you need an OS or peripherals.

Like MauveCloud said, the CPU link isn't working. I also agree on his CPU advice, At most I'd get an i5. And, what are the other parts you are planning on using, and your budget, do you need a OS, monitor, etc.

I am probably going to stick with windows seven, and I already have a monitor. That is all i am going to put it for now.
