Hi, I need some buying advice. I need a kvm switch for a DVI monitor and logitech wireless USB mouse and keyboard. I was told the IOGear GSC1104 ones are good but they don't seem to be available in Europe. 2 ports is ok but I can go a bit more expensive for 4 ports. Sound isn't really important to me. I've had a few cheap ones in the past that never worked properly so this time, I am prepared to spend a bit more to get one that just works and is reliable. Any suggestions?

I see no input as of yet. I am in the same boat. I have been using a KVM HDMI-USB 2-port with a wireless mouse and KB but do not have the same control over the M & KB by going through the KVM switch. I mean, it's been OK but I am now getting into an online game that requires better mouse & keyboard. And cannot locate anything wireless. Have you talked to IO Gear?

IOGear here in Europe is not so popular apparently. I ordered an Aten KVM from Amazon with the idea that I can return it if it doesnt work. It's supposed to arrive this week. I will test it and let you know. It is USB and DVI based though. I've heard the HDMI ones are more glitchy.

OK so, I got a nice surprise half an hour ago. My KVM just arrived. Hooked it up in 10 minutes. Everything worked perfectly including as a bonus, my bluetooth V600 speakers. I just connected it to the USB port on the back of the switch and it worked perfectly.

I can confirm ATEN KVMP model CS1784A just works with my logitech K800 wireless keyboard and T620 wireless mouse. Sweet!

I am using an Aten CS692, it is the one I mentioned. The HDMI-USB 2-port but this one limits KB & M usage although it does work. The KB & M is an older MS Laser Wireless 7000. I have purchased the same KB & M units after I wear out the existing I have. I had been using for years as a KVM was an IO Gear GSC1802 and then it started acting weird. I then bought another off of eBay and that would not work with the wireless KB & M. Here that unit had the firmware upgrade. And IO Gear confirmed that the new firmware would not work with wireless. Thus the converting to Aten CS692. BUT now I would like to go to a gamer KB & M and have tried a few different mice that have not performed well with this KVM from Aten. One mouse I tried was a Logitech G500s (USB wired) and also a Performance MX (wireless) that did not work well with the Aten. I did just read that Logitech might work with 2 receivers (unified) ...1 in each CPU. I am going to look into that and also research what you are using. THEN I just realized that you are on the "uk" server....which is no big deal other than time line and possibly different hardware restrictions. I will keep you updated ;). Thank you.
