Power on, only case fans turn on. No POST

(Not really sure where to post this) About two days ago, I replaced my heatsink. Now when I turn on the computer in the morning, only the case fans turn on. No POST, BIOS or OS. The monitors and keyboard don't light up either. After about 10 seconds the computer restarts automatically, then everything is normal. I have no idea what is causing this.

check that the thermal paste not grounding out the cpu. look to see if the ram is seated and check in the bios that the ram speed set right. the error sounds that at first post the mb and ram can set the speed right and falls over and then is able to set the speed right on the reboot.
