Hi, is your new screen has the same number as the old one?
This is a second replacement screen and exact model. After I ordered the first and removed the original cracked screen, I reordered as per exact model number/brand since the first one did not work. After the first experience, rather than rely on laptop model I suggest to all to order a replacement screen after dis-assembly to avoid having to return/reorder the part. BUT, even with this second "exact" replacement screen, I can only see my desktop/screen very faintly. It is almost black. All appears fine on an external monitor (television via HDMI cable). Thanks!
