So, In my area we have upgraded to the most mbps we can get, which is low.. The highest Mbps we can get is 6 Mbp/s. We upgraded our internet yesterday from 3 Mbp/s to 6 Mbp/s. and the AT&T person said to unplug the modem and plug it back in tomorrow (which is that following day). Now today, I went to go check the download/upload speed using Ookla and Testmy.net. They both say I'm still running on 3 Mbp/s.. and we paid for 6 Mbp/s and we also unplugged a replugged the modem like 5 times.. Still, we are getting 3 Mbp/s. Any reason??

I shouldn't be too far, I mean, If I can upgrade to the FastAccess DSL xtreme 6.0, (which I did just have FastAccess DSL xtreme) you would figure I would get 6 Mbp/s. Oh and the Rev said "C" on it. Probably is an old DSL Modem.

Yeah but we looked at AT&T's U-Verse and Verizon Fios and Comcast's deals.. None of the higher mbp/s can reach out here.. Just DSL.. Which sucks really bad because only one of us can really be on the internet. My dad will play BO2 and lag when I'm on Rust or something... especially when my brother facetime.. :| It's very frustrating but I know 6 Mbp/s won't help alot, but it will help a little bit. Oh, how can I look at the plan that were using atm, all I know that we switched from FastAccess DSL xtreme to the 6.0 one.
