CPU temps too high?

This is odd. My CPU doesn't show up in SpeedFan, shows drastically different temps in HWMonitor vs AMD Overdrive, and in the BIOS, it is around 47-55 C (probably because of extremely low load).
Is this safe? I am thinking not. It has the stock cooler.

Athlon 760K. Big mistake. I am planning on getting an FX-8320 with an aftermarket cooler soon, but this will have to do for a few months.
