Placement of the Optional CPU Fan?

Probably buying the ASUS M5A99FX PRO R2.0 and it has a second 4 pin cpu fan header. Where exactly does one usually place the second cpu fan? (Pictures, please, if you have any.) BTW the CPU I bought is the 8350 and the seller is throwing in a Water Cooler for the CPU as well.. :bounce:

Just want to make sure I use all available options provided by all those fan headers.

If you are using the stock cpu cooler you dont

But if you were using an aftermarket tower you could have fans in a push/pull set up

Having never used a water cooling system I'd assumed that the water cooler is the cpu cooler. Won't know for sure until I receive them in the mail hopefully on Saturday. Not sure how push/pull works regarding air applied directly on cpu by a secondary fan. Guess that's why I need pictures.

I do have some fancy Thermaltake tower cpu heatsink a friend of mine sold me with the motherboard I'm using now (he preinstalled it and I can't even see the model number). It's sitting on my Phenom II x4 so I assume it will be compatible with my new AM3+ CPU.

Yes AM3 and AM3+ have the same mounting

You should be able to find a manual for the water cooler online and see how it is supposed to connect , assuming you know the make and model

So a cpu water cooler (won't know the model for a few days) would not be used with a fan tower heatsink or are they used together? I feel so ignorant right now.

edit: Looking at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HO9APx2yKrg it seems that the water cooler would use both of those cpu fan headers. Correct? Thanks.
