Using an ATX motherboard in a corsair 300r. The corsair 300r doesn't require you to put standoffs, pretty nice. Except that the middle part of the motherboard will be an actual standoff. I didn't remove it and I just screwed the others screws. Is this the problem?

Edit-one of the links someone gave had someone saying that the standoff shouldn't be an issue if it's in a mounting hole, is this correct? Because the extra standoff is in a mounting hole, it's just that I didn't screw it or anything.

Not sure what you are saying but if there is no screw hole in the motherboard there should be no standoff and it can be the culprit in that case.
