My problem started 5 months ago when my pc started rebooting randomly. I RMA'd the mobo and that didn't help with the reboots. It actually got worse, the monitor stopped getting signal and it wouldn't even post to BIOS. I then took it to a tech and he said that my mobo was dead because he couldn't even shut it down with the power button, he had to shut down the psu. He tested it with a gpu (I didn't have one, it has integrated graphics). Then he said I should buy a new cpu and mobo and that should fix everything wrong with my computer. So I did. A few days ago I got a Gigabyte motherboard and an AMD FX 6300 cpu (same one as before). Well I installed the motherboard and cpu properly with all the wires and everything plugged in where they go. I turned on the computer and I still got no video, at all. I'm using a vga cable btw. I have also tested it with hdmi, same result. I cleared the BIOS, made sure the RAM was clean but I still am not getting any video or slight signal to the monitor. The most aggravating thing is that not even the mouse and keyboard get signal (lights don't flicker) so I'm pretty much stuck. I know the mobo works because I can shut it down with the power button, whereas I couldn't before. As I said, I'm stuck, I have no idea what else it could be so please help me so I can finally get back to programming! Thanks in advanced.

Solution
That motherboard has been brought up to the forum a lot recently, and that's not a good thing. I would try different kinds of RAM seating order, such as no RAM, 1 stick of RAM, 2 sticks of RAM.
