Hey guys, so recently I started noticing large lag spikes occurring during game play once every 30 seconds. I first dismissed it in BF4 thinking a new update had screwed the game up but then I noticed it in the Dayz mod which has never used up a significant amount of computing power. I've ruled out hard drive failure since both games were on different hard drives. I'm suspicious it's the graphics card since I was playing dayz while watching a movie then all my screens went black for a couple of seconds, on returning the game was still running but was black and had to be, I think the video stopped, it happened again 30min later while doing the same thing. I closed the video and it stopped happening.

Intel Celeron
SSD HD 100GB
2x WD 1TB HD
I think it may of started after doing an update for niveda that allowed me to use an old Physix system for MOH Airbourne.
How can I check what the problem is?
