System:
MSI G45 Gaming Motherboard
I7 4770k CPU
8GB corsair RAM
MSI 7950 Gfx
128GB ssd with Windows 8 64 bit
Bunch of other drives for extra storage
Corsair CX 800W
All air cooled.

If more specified model numbers are desired, just ask.

The Problem:
Virtually every day when I start up my computer, it crashes within 20 mins, usually after 5. But only the first time every day. So when I get home, i turn it on, use it a couple minutes, crashes (full restart, no error, no BSOD, mobo message about settings reset (need to check what it ACTUALLY says, something like F1: Enter setup, F2: Set all to default), I usually just enter setup then exit again to keep same settings, then the computer works fine all day (hours) until I turn it off, leave it until the next day, then the cycle starts again.

I was about to say I think it's a hardware issue, but really I have no idea. The CPU and motherboard is new, but I had them for about 2 months before this issue ever arose.

If anyone could suggest something to help diagnose, that would be great. Thanks a lot.

Edit: There are no errors or warnings in the event log BEFORE the restart, only after saying "Unexpected restart occurred".

Sounds like some capacitor, most likely from the motherboard is taking time to properly charge, so after the initial usage it gets to it's optimal state and from there on it works without issue.

Sometimes, less likely it's the same issue in one of the PSU components.

It could also be a temperature issue, if components are too cold they can cause this issue (assuming you have a really low ambient temperature, like near 0ºC or less)

So... if you don't have those ambient temps, you could start by testing your system with a different PSU to rule that out, if problem persist I'd be pretty sure is some capacitor in the mobo.

The CPU was overclocked, it was stable at about 4.2GHz. But after this issue started, I restored everything to default values but it didn't solve the problem :S

@RadiKal_
The ambient temps outside are about that, but definitely not inside. So it's not that. It does sound as if it could be the motherboard or PSU. I'll see if I can pick up a PSU from somewhere. Both the PSU and motherboard are fairly new ( < 6 months). But the PSU is a fairly cheap low quality one, so that'll be the easiest to check.

yes.
the problem may either lie with the hdd giving up at a certain point or the ram getting lost in the space.
check those 2 first.
did any windows update cause that? some messed up registries within updates can mess up a damn pc. restore to time when it was completely working.
does psu stop it's fan for a span of time and crashes leading to pc restarting?
hmm more info needed.
first check hdd, ram and windows.
use ccleaner to clean all crap.
check if there is any bad setting in bios. is xmp on ram enabled?
