Hello Tom's Hardware! I have been having this problem with R9 290. I have the reference card but I have recently bought an MSI R9 290 Twin Frozr cooler off of eBay for $85. I put the cooler on and it worked fine for about an hour of gaming. I turn my PC off and back on and there was this green vertical line on my screen. Then it got to the starting windows screen and after that the monitor shut off and wouldn't turn back on. I will post a picture of the line so you guys can see what I mean. IF anyone can help I would be great-ful!
