1) I prefer Windows 7!
2) Bigger case maybe for better cooling
3) Maybe get a WD Velociraptor instead of the WD Black
4) There is very small performance difference between i5 4670k and the i74770k. I would get the i5 and save some money (for the Velociraptor)
5) Do you have a monitor?

1. If you're just gaming, pick an i5 instead of an i7 to save money.
2. Choose a non K series CPU like an i5 4570 if it is not likely that you will be overclocking.
3. Choose an H87 or B85 series motherboard if you will not be overclocking.
4. A GTX 770 will be able to play any game at max settings with one 1080p monitor.
5. A 500-650 watt power supply will be sufficient for any single video card.

i don't see a need for any changes. Especially since your budget is what it is.
Except maybe your optical drive could at least include BR play ability.
Also unless your new to windows, 8 may not prove as beneficial as 7. I gave it a good go but couldn't get use to it and went back to 7.
Otherwise excellent choices all round.
