I am using a Samsung SyncMaster S22B300 and a Radeon 6970 with my active mini display port and all of a sudden it has stopped working. It just doesn't get picked up by my pc at all. I have had it working before so I know that the setup is fine and I have swapped around the monitors for each slot and they work fine on others it's just the mini display port that isn't working. I have tried both slots and with every USB slot just in case my motherboard is being temperamental but to no avail.
Do adapters have a short life? any help appreciated
