Go for a AMD Graphics card if you can, they'll work better together.
Ram speed is overkill for gaming, 1600mz will be fine.
If you plan to overclock you will need a Aftermarket CPU cooler, and a Motherboard with a 990fx chipset.
I would recommend the 990fx chipset because it's made for the FX CPU.

i was told that it doesnt matter if the cpu and gpu company are the same
890 with an update is no big deal, but its the opposite for futureproof, no next gen cpu's for u, but then, i think AMD max have maxed AM3 and we'll all need new boards soon anyway, so make sure u wanna spring for the 990. Question, why the 6300 instead of the similarly priced 8320?

cause its not as expensive
well if you get an 890fx, wouldn't the money you save let you get a better cpu? just remember if the board doesn't support usb or cd bios flash upgrades, you have to upgrade the bios with an older cpu in before you can use the newer one
