, wondering if anyone could help me, basically just received my AWUS036H from Amazon today and my download speed which should be 30mbps is now 2-4mbps, my laptop which is right next to me using a inbuilt wireless card is working fine at the correct 30mbps download speed, also my laptop is picking up twice as much wireless networks than the Alfa on the pc, which baffles me seeing as my wireless card in my laptop isn't anything special at all just standard, I thought the Alfa should be superior in that area ?
one thing to mention i had bought the Alfa because i was having problems with a pci wireless card that was in the pc im using the Alfa on at the moment, the previous card had bad signal and the download speed was fluctuating between 10mbps and 1mbps and below that even, could it be something on my computer is interfering with the Alfa ? also could of been interfering with my previous wireless card too ? because that's what im thinking now
