Hello
My configuration->
Core I7 3770K
Asrock Extreme 4
Corsair Vangeance 4GB x2 RAM
Seagate barracuda 1TB HDD
Samsung 840 SSD 120GB
Corsair Tx850M Power Supply
Cooler Master 690 2 Plus Cabinet
ATI sapphire 7950 vector-x boost edition 3gb graphics card
And these are my coolers->
Corsair H100i Cooler for cpu-> Dont know on which slot, connected by a mechanic
Cooler Master 90 CFM Red LED Cooler for cabinet-> CHA_FAN3
Cooler Master 90 CFM Green LED Cooler for cabinet-> CHA_FAN1 (which supports PWN but since this fan does not have it, I connected it to 3 pins only)
2 default cooler that came with my cabinet (one that blue led cooler and other at CHA_FAN2)
Two coolers present in my gpu inbuilt

I wanted to OC my 3770k, so I went into bios and set the clock speed to 4.4 Ghz. Everything was fine but whenever I launched a game like cod ghosts and such (at max settings), my pc crashed and there were problems. So I reverted back to 4.0Ghz

I believe that my cooler should be able to handle this much (and yeah, on my cooler's radiator, one fan is upside down, is it supposed to be that way?). So I want a tool for oc according to my hardware. Should i go for ai suite? please recommend me one.

More about : secure tool

It seems to me like your CPU requires more voltage to run stable at 4.4Ghz. Having adequate cooling is only one of the requirements.

Will 0.2 incremental be good? (actually, i can try hit and trial but i don't want to mess around too much with my new build).
also, i have set cpu power on auto, shouldn't that have done the job?

Auto is not sufficient for most overclocking settings. Set the CPU voltage to a +0.1 volt offset and try that. Move it up slowly until you either reach stability or reach a thermal threshold
