My Setup:
AMD Athlon X2 2,8 GHz
ATI Radeon 5570 HD
4 GB RAM
500 GB Internal HDD
1 TB USB 3.0 External HDD
PnP USB Mouse and PS2 Keyboard
Two Monitors:
Primary 21" LG Flatron W2261V via RGB/VGA (1920x1080p)
Secondary 20" Acer whatever model (no clue xD) via DVI-D (1600x900p)
I switched the Monitors about a Month ago, before that Date, the Acer was primary and the LG was secondary.
I own that PC since 2011
Issue
Like Title says, everytime i try to watch a stream which needs the Flashplayer, let it be Youtube in Chrome/Iron or Advertisements in Steam internal Browser or anything else...my PC goes fully Banana and freezes. No Alt+Ctrl+Del, just hard restart pushing the power button a few seconds.
This now goes on for about 4-6 Days, i have holidays so i dont really remember. I tried a System restoration but my stupid windows didnt save a restoration point that is older than 36 Hours
I had the same problem about a Year ago when i used my Sharkoon 5,1 Headset, i had to switch my Audio output in the Realtek Drivers from 5,1 or Quadrophone to Stereo, it worket perfect, no more issues...but now its happening again.
I have no idea what may have caused this problem to happen now again...it first occured while i was looking for a game in the steam shop and a trailer window appeared, it froze Win 7 immediately. Then i tested it on Youtube = freeze, then i tested it in Steam internal Browser = Freeze, then in SRWare Iron browser on Youtube = freeze.
After that disappointing evaluation i was seeking knowledge in "teh internetz", also here, tried some of the solutions, and two were useful, but didn't solve my issue permanently.
The first one i tried was deleting the folders "Appdata\roaming\adobe\flash player" and "appdata\roaming\macromedia" it worked out, but only as long as i closed the Tab or browser window, then i had to re-delete them two Folders, so i wrote a batch file that deletes theese folders and runs chrome then, surprisingly, then it didnt worked out at all
Secondly i uninstalled flash player entirely from my PC, it also worked out until i closed the browser, after the next relaunch it froze again.
I am seconds away from throwing my PC into my Monitor...so please, HALP MEH!
PS: I an now testing if i could somehow disable hardware acceleration in my browser but i am sending this text in case it doesnt work and i dont need to rewrite it again...
