I overclocked my processor like i did a few times before and now it won't post even thought i removed the BIOS battery, or CMOS battery or some thing like that.
I hope you get what component i mean because i don't know what it's called.
Somebody said i had some kind of overclocking security that if i overclock to much it won't post so nothing will be damaged but i reset the bios (by removing the battery) and now it still doesn't start.
I don't realy know if it is true that i have that kind of security.
Can somebody PLZ help me because i really need my computer and can't afford go to a computer store to let it be checked.

More about : overclocked processor post plz

Did you remove the power cable when removing the battery?

After removing the battery AND the cable, hold down the power button for several seconds. It's all that worked for me last time.

according to this you have the following feature (ALSO check page 1-18 of the manual).

" you do not need to clear the RTC when the system hangs due to overclocking. For system failure due to overclocking, use the CPU Parameter Recall (C.P.R) feature. Shut down and reboot the system so the bios automatically reset parameter settings to default values. "

That is correct.
