MSI Mpower Max SLI GTX 670s Plus a Wireless Card

I recently purchased a Netgear Nighthawk ac1900 router, my current USB adapter caps out at 5ghz 300mbps which I knew I was going to need to buy a new one.

If I buy an Asus AC68 wireless pci-e adapter I should be able to get 1.3 gigabit/s without interrupting my sli which is running in PCI 3.0 x8/8 correct? From my understanding pcie does not use CPU lanes and it has its own bandwidth for ssd pci drives/sound cards/wireless adapters/etc?
