HI

I know this subject has been discussed before as well as being sticked, but this is still confusing to me, as ive just come from Nvidia surround which is a lot easier and does not require Display port.

All i want to know is can i connect 2x DVI from GPU to my monitors and then one DP to HDMI cable to 3rd monitor or do i need those so called Active adapters?

If this cannot be done will using this Adapter work StarTech 1920x1200 Display Port Male to HDMI Female Active Adapter with Audio Converter

will this adapter work on a 5760x1080 setup, as it says it only supports resolutions of 1920x1200 sorry for being a bit thick here but im not tech savvy, thats why i love this site to get the help from you guys.

Thanks in advance

What's your graphics card?

But yes, most likely, you need an active converter for DP to whatever to use Eyefinity.

The adapter seems like it's an active converter, so I think it should work. It only supports up to 1920x1200, but if that's the resolution of the display you will be connecting the adapter to, then you're fine.

i'm using 2 startech DisplayPort to Dual HDMI Multi Monitor Adapter M/F - DP to 2x HDMI 3840x1200 to run 4 monitors from my 7950 it works really well no screen tearing at all. i was having issues mixing the outputs on the card before i got the hubs.

have it set up in a 2x2 and playing a poormans 4k res.
