its great, however, if you are going to be gaming, you can drop down to a high end i5 and not notice any loss in preformance. if it is for 3d rendering/designing, etc. keep the i7.

that PSU is way overkill, a 650w would be plenty and if you have future plans to SLI get at most a 850w. Your system build is very similar to mine, looks good.

Yeah thats what I thought, but I went with the 1000 for future proofing. I plan on SLI the 780ti in the future wasnt too sure how high i needed to go so just went with that.

Get an aftermarket CPU cooler for overclocking. If you don't plan on overclocking, you can still get the K-version or you can get the non-k version.

Everything is else is fine. You can move some stuff around and save money. Unless you plan on doing SLI or a water cooling loop, you don't need to buy a 1000w PSU.

Do you have a budget? A goal? Particular games?

850W will be more than enough for two cards, most likely even for future generations of GPUs. As long as you're sticking with Nvidia, power consumption should continue to go down, while still getting more power.

Very nice build man, wish I'd gone for a 770 or higher instead of a 760. Don't get me wrong, it gets the job done, but is officially a midrange card

What's the resolution of your monitor(s)? Getting SLI would be useless if you only have 1 or 2 monitors..
