Which should I buy ? Samsung Evo 500GB vs Samsung Pro 256GB

Debating on (2) Samsung Pro 256GB or (2) Evo 500GB. I would raid 0 them together. I know the Pros have a five year warranty vs a 3 year for the evos and are slightly faster. 500GB is $80 more than the 256gb pro. Any opinions?

the evo is just under the pro in terms of performance. Likely never see a difference. The pro has yes a 5 yr warrenty and evo only 3. But on a consumer level writing 30gb a day on either ssd would likely take far more than 10 years to surpase the lifespan. Also, since evo is double the size, it will take even longer for you to write to every block or bit, thereby also causing it to last longer.

Let alone you get double the space with the evo vs pro, my recommendation evo over pro.

Was just in similar pickle myself, as my laptop only has one hhd/ssd slot. it was 500gb pro or 1tb evo. I went evo havnet looked back
