I want to buy a 4TB hard drive but I'm not sure which to choose. I have always been using portable hard drives with no need for an external power supply. I understand that 4TB HDs all need an external power supply and I'm OK with it. I've been using Toshiba 320GB and Seagate 1.5TB. Believe it or not, they almost full. I download a lot of lecture videos and so I need a backup now.
A quick search on Amazon revealed three popular products around the same price range with the same 4/5 star rating. I need to choose one. Here they are:
1. Seagate Backup Plus 4TB Desktop
2. Seagate Expansion 4TB Desktop
3. WD My Book 4TB USB 3.0 Hard Drive
You can look them up in amazon for additional details. Please help me choose the most reliable of those listed above. Also, you can suggest a better one if there is one.
