I just recently upgraded from a gtx 550ti to gtx 750 ti. I use a ssd drive. My pc usually boot up within a couple of seconds. now it show the gigabyte screen for a while before it goes to windows. I can't even go to bios menu. Anyway I can fix it?

It's not clear if the Gigabyte logo did not show before or it just takes longer now before continuing... but probably either can be adjusted in the settings. If DEL key or the F# key (pressed right after the power button) don't get you in the BIOS; You may have to reset it. And if resetting the BIOS doesn't help, you may have to check if the video card is bottomed down on the slot, that PCIe the slot is clean, and that the power connector is all the way in the card. Also check the video cable is screwed all the way in just avoid overtightening it. Also check the AC power to PSU connection, and PSU to Motherboard connections.

There is a way to troubleshoot this problem, but it requires you to enter the bios setup screen.
If you manage to do that ( which i presume you cannot ) Disable the gigabyte logo on boot up. that way the next time you restart your PC, you could see exactly where its slowing down.

HDD sometimes does not get recognized instantly or ram starts a count up. but thats just jumping into conclusions.

try disabling it first. even if u have to use your old card to get into bios.
:)

Apparently it's all due to BIOS settings.. you probably have the 750 ti connected to DVI and as far as I know, by default all BIOS chips come in VGA, so when you reset it, the BIOS reverted to VGA, therefore the blank screen. It should have automatically changed the setting to DVI but for some reason did not.
The z77-d3h motherboard has two PCIe slots so you must have both GPUs installed... switch the video cable to the 550ti to access the BIOS and check the BIOS video settings, and compare how it reads both GPUs, and configure the settings exactly the same for both cards, and also check/change the Windows video settings, and set the 750ti as default. If nothing chages after restarting the computer, switch GPUs on the PCIe slots or remove the 550ti.

I've got the same issue with GTX 750 and GTX 760.

Just wait for 2-3 minutes and eventually computer will boot after 3 beeps.

That's the problem... TheWiz doesn't want to wait, and besides it's not normal, even 2 minutes is way to long. Some BIOS video setting is probably wrong for the card, and probably also in your's. 3 beeps indicate a problem, specifically a RAM problem if the BIOS is AMI.

Hi there, I fix that problem to update my Z77 board bios to F11a version. (mine is rev 1.0)

First u need to clear ur PCI-E slot (use integrated graphics) and boot ur win7 so u can download F11a bios file (http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4147#bios). Then setup bios update file into USB.

Second reboot computer and use Z77 board Q-Flash then upgrade ur bios version to F11a.

Turn off your computer. Put GTX750(ti) card into motherboard PCI-E slot then power on.

Problem solved :)
