how to use toshiba recovery disc but cd not working

Hi all. Hope you can help me. I got my Toshiba recovery disks for my laptop. It's a Satellite series. For some reason, fr bios page by pressing F12, it keep coming back to bios menu page and says "CD/DVD HL-DT-STDVDRAM GT30N is failed" message. So i can't do anything. Could you please help?

Try resetting the BIOS to factory default settings, optimal default settings, etc. If nothing changes, try the following options:
1. Replace the CD/DVD Drive
2. In another computer; copy the files from the recovery disk to a folder and make bootable USB recovery drive.
A 3rd. option would be to check the CD/DVD Drive connections if you have the instructions to open the laptop shell.
