Just had to rebuild my computer recently. The motherboard I had ordered was an exact fit for what I needed, but after several days of waiting I had to contact Ascendtech to find out why it had not shipped when I was notified that the motherboard I had ordered was not in stock. They said they had the same one missing only an HDMI output, which I was fine with since my GPU has a built in one. What they failed to mention is that the motherboard has a 4 pin P4 connector, and of course my power supply only has an 8 pin P4 connector. I have searched and found a thousand 4 pin to 8 pin connectors, but none in reverse, any suggestions?

Are you sure its not two 4pins connected together? What is your power supply brand and model?

You may be right Ill double check

1 x 20+4-Pin Main Connector
1 x 4+4-Pin ATX12V/EPS12V Connector
1 x 8-pin EPS12V Connector

Edit: you are correct, I was only looking at the first one, didn't even notice the second one that is seperateable! Thank you bunchs.
