I was looking inside my case because one of my back fans were not spinning, I got that working and I knocked my GPU Fan blade and it stopped spinning, about 5 mins later, I looked and the fan blade was broken off. It's currently unbalanced and is vibrating badly across my desk, is there any thing I could do to make it stop vibrating? Like break the blade on the other side off or something? I've only had the card for about 2 months and I bought it from ebuyer.com, I don't know if it has a warranty or how to return it to get a new one, so if someone could please help it would be greatly appreciated.

~Thanks

If the fan has an even number of blades, it may 'help' the vibration. But won't cure it. And your cooling will suffer. Contact the card's manufacturer and see if they can send you a new fan/motor.

well, you cant really fix the fan, i would just buy a new fan for like $5-$10.

Son found an OEM replacement fan on eBay for $10. He has a 5870 video card, and we were able to easily replace the fan, and the thermal paste at the same time.

Should be able to find a replacement fan fairly easily.

I spoke to soon. Try calling or emailing Nvidia. Good chance they will send you another one, or sell you one.

I'm gonna return it to ebuyer.com during this week, they should send me a new one because it is in the warranty.
