Hi guys, im going to be building a pc for my friend within 4 months and was completely stuck for ideas. The pc is going to mainly used for gaming, light video editing, streaming.

For this build would an i7 be best? Or would AMD fx 8350, also would a gtx 770 be the best. The build would have to be purchased from Pc case gear, or mwave australia.

Thanks :)

There are very few games that can take advantage of hyperthreading. It isn't worth the extra money.

I thought that the i7 with the hyperthreading would assist with multi-core gaming?
