Hello everyone. I'm currently doing a big marathon of Assassins creed. 1 and 2 run fine but Brotherhood is having a bit of trouble. My machine meets the recommended settings for it however it doesn't support the 7000 series and up. (Don't know if that would have anything to do with it) So if I can't run this game at low settings and a little bit lower resolution from 1920 by 1080. Then I guess its time to upgrade. These are my current specs.

AMD Radeon 7850 GPU clock > 950 Mhz (OC a bit) Memory clock is 1200 Mhz

CPU is a Intel I5-3470 @ 3.20 Ghz

RAM: AMD entertainment series (Pretty sure that's it) 16 Gigs

Motherboard is a MSI don't really know too much beyond that.

and all the other stuff isn't too important. I paid $1200 for it.

Ummmm I guess that's about it if you guys need any more info just ask. I have a $300-400 dollar price range for a new GPU. Thanks everyone :)

If you are going to upgrade graphics, make it a big jump or you may be disappointed.
Consider a card in the GTX770 or a comparably performing R9-280X class.
At this point in time, the R9 cards are overpriced because of the bitcoin mining mania.
You will need a PSU in the 600w range.

Thanks guys. Just curious but could it maybe just be Assassins creed being weird? I can run pretty much every other game at high or very high settings getting a smooth 60 FPS
